I am delighted to be partnering with Wildling Shoes to give a talk on dynamic feet and transitioning to minimal shoes at Scapa Fest in May 2019. Scapa Fest is a wonderful yoga and adventure festival in Scotland. The vision for Scapa Fest weaves together mind-body health, environmental action and outdoor education. Wildling Shoes are an innovative ethical barefoot shoe company from Germany and they are touring Europe this year.

Wildling Shoes Pop-Up Shop

Wildling Shoes are an innovative ethical barefoot-shoe company from Germany. Wildling is on tour this summer and they are coming to my garden! Wildling has a wonderful range of adult and kids barefoot shoes and you can come and try them on while enjoying the spring garden and a cup of tea at Woodside Cottage. If you would like to come please let me know so I have a rough idea of numbers!

Whole Body Core and Pelvic Floor

Due to popular demand, this course is being repeated but this time it is suitable for beginners.  Prepare to leave this workshop with a different perspective on how to improve your core! 

Your core is really everything that your arms and legs attach to from your pelvic floor to the chest. Full participation of the core depends on movements and mobilities in the hands, arms, legs, pelvis, spine and ribs and core strength depends on how much we move and load those parts throughout the day. In this workshop we will focus on all of this! We will also practice some natural movements that load the core in a dynamic way such as crawling, walking and carrying and at least some of this we will take outside on a walk.

A movement, science and coaching workshop.  This workshop is designed for movement professionals and anyone interested in a deeper understanding of movement, ageing and health.   The weekend will include lots of movement instruction including outside time; science instruction on the latest ageing research and coaching strategies to create action plans for yourself and your clients.
